I bought this suitcase for a trip to Athens, Greece. It did well on all the cobblestones as we walked to our hotels. I will say that I trusted it was carry-on sized because the name of it was carry-on. And it was not even close (even without expanding it) to fitting in the overhead bin. I lucked out and bags were being checked free at the gate, so it wasn’t really an issue for me.So yes, great suitcase, but you should probably fill it as much as you want and check it.
Compact but roomy, sized to fit airlines carry on requirements and easy to maneuver on trips through airports, car rentals and destinations - what else do you want? I read the negative reviews which all seem to have "zipper failure" as a problem however I did NOT encounter that issue on my domestic trips - but if that's a concern for you, remember that you can get free returns for this item.I'm VERY pleased with this carry on!
If you’ve ever staggered through an airport with luggage that feels like it’s personally trying to sabotage you, let me introduce you to salvation in bright orange: the Amazon Basics 3-Piece Hardshell Suitcase Set.First off, the design. Whoever engineered the internal compartments must have actually traveled before — a radical concept in the luggage world. Every zipper, strap, and pocket seems to exist with intent. There’s a place for everything, and miraculously, everything fits in its place. Gone are the days of sitting on your suitcase, whispering prayers to the zipper gods. And the movement — oh, the movement! These wheels glide with the unhinged grace of a fairy on a questionable substance. You barely need to touch them; they just… go, as though they know you’ve already sprinted through three terminals and emotionally can’t handle any more resistance. Smooth, confident, and eerily sentient. They’re tough, too. After several flights, a few car trips, and one unfortunate baggage carousel incident that looked like a scene from a Michael Bay film, the cases are still standing proud. A couple of battle scars, sure, but honestly, they wear them like badges of honor. If luggage could talk, these would whisper, “Relax — I’ve got this.”Five stars. Life-changing, functional, and joyfully absurd in their orange brilliance.
This is my first carry-on suitcase, and I took it with me on my first vacation to San Francisco! I was pleasantly surprised by the suitcase itself, which turned out to be significantly roomier than it looked in the photo and description. Everything I needed fit, and even had some room left over. The wheels are good quality, and it rolls smoothly and quietly. Honestly, my suitcase rolls much easier than my wife's. 😊 And of course, as always, Amazon delivery was fast and on time.Definitely recommend!
I bought this because I needed a suitcase that would meet airline regulations to take on board a flight so I would have to pay baggage fees. This was perfect because it met the guidelines and didn't take up too much in the overhead storage. It also has a little give in it so it makes it easier to fit in the overhead space. I had room.to put 1 wk of clothes. I wish that it had a small zip pocket for socks or underwear. Otherwise it was a good fit for me.
